Nick Clegg shows gross insensitivity and a woeful lack of judgment

Commenting on comments made by Lib Dem leader, Nick Clegg, about the James Bulger case, George pointed out that he has shown "a gross insensitivity and a deep ignorance of what took place and what prompted the reaction. To claim that the whole approach of the criminal justice system towards young offenders is in some way a reaction to that appalling case frankly shows a woeful lack of judgment.” Read the full story here.

Merseyside MPs today urged the government to pull the financial plug on the US owners of Liverpool FC.
